Not your typical 3 day trip!
This introductory expedition is an opportunity for a fantastic group of self identified femmes & thems to dip their toes into the world of sea kayaking! As a beginner friendly course so no experience is required! Paddlers with more experience are welcome to join and build skills or just spend some time on the water. Your guides will help give you all the knowledge and skills needed to feel comfortable on the water and you’ll have the opportunity to earn your level 1 Paddle Canada certification through your participation and learning.
Your trip begins with a welcome evening campfire on Thursday where you’ll get to know your instructors and peers your stay at either the Nestled in Nature B&B or the Rossport Inn is included in this package. The group will set out Friday morning and spend the next few days camping and learning before returning early afternoon on Sunday.
The Rossport Islands offer the perfect location for this expedition. The islands offer beautiful natural spaces to explore while building your skills and offer protection, making it the ideal space for beginners and experienced paddlers alike.

Meals for this trip will be planned and provided for you, but the group will cook together as a community.
