Such a Nice Day (S.A.N.D.) Adventures acknowledges that we operate on the lands of the Anishinaabeg Peoples and the communities on the northern shore of Gichigami (Lake Superior). This area is encompassed by the Robinson-Superior Treaty of 1850. We also acknowledge and appreciate that many of the activities we participate in have history as traditional practices of the Indigenous Peoples of Canada. We invite our participants to take time to reflect and discuss the past and the present, including difficult topics such as colonialism, while immersing themselves in the beauty of Gichigami.
