Located far from mainland between the communities of Red Rock and Rossport Ontario, Nirivia offers some of the most spectacular paddling, hiking and fishing opportunties along with one of the best saunas on the lake! We will be whisked away by boat shuttle from Rossport (provided by Discovery Island Charters, approx 1.5hrs). The shuttle will bring all persons with equipment (including kayaks) and food for 5 days. Hidden deep in a secluded harbour lies the Nirivian Embassy and there are a few geodesic dome structures and tenting sites for people to rest comfortably and enjoy a relaxing sauna after a day of hiking or paddling in the area.

For this journey we will spent 2-3 evenings here and then we will pack up all our equipment into our kayaks start paddling back to Rossport enjoying the spectacular southern shoreline of Southeastern St Ignace Island and Simpson island making camp as we see fit along the way.

Paddle Canada level 2 sea kayak skill development and assessments are possible during this expedition so please inquire if this is of interest to you upon registration.
